In-State Action

Weber State was the last team the Aggies faced in the fall. The Aggies triumphed with a three-game sweep in conference play with 10-0, 11-1, and 9-4 victories.

The Battle of the Brothers

Last spring vs the Utes, the Aggies won the series 2-1. After 8-0 and 6-2 Aggie wins, late game heroics saw Utah walk off the final game of the series in a 13-12 Aggie loss. The Aggies are 4-2 in the matchup since the Utes returned to the NCBA in 2023.

Where were we?

The Aggies ended the fall hot, stamping a perfect 6-0 record. They recorded a team average of .414 on 67 hits. The team’s 43 stolen bases led the country at the end of the fall season, while scoring a run differential of +42. The Aggies were top five in the NCBA in both offense and defensive categories, scoring 9.33 runs per game while only allowing 2.5 per game.

The Aggie pitching staff recorded a 2.03 ERA, keeping opponents' average to .224. Four Aggies picked up at least one win, including seniors Hayden Gardner, Kaden Matthews, and Will Ramage, and freshman John Boer.

On the Bump

Boer led the pitching staff, recording a complete game shutout against Weber State, and carried no-hitters into the final inning in back-to-back starts. He also leads the Aggies with 15 strikeouts.

Senior Hayden Gardner pitched a 0.90 ERA through 10 innings, the lowest nationally among relievers with 10 or more innings pitched during the fall season. Jake Burbidge and junior Josh Ezell also recorded a save each and recorded a 0.00 ERA in relief.
